Orchard Lake Pet Resort

natalie_gordanierOrchard Lake Pet Resort has been a family owned business opening early 1996.  Home schooled since a young teenager, Natalie decided it was time to take her love of animals more seriously!  The family purchased Groomingtails, an existing pet grooming business located in Farmington Hills.  

Anxious to begin her first entrepreneurial experience and become a talented groomer, Natalie attended numerous pet conventions, seminars, and continuing education across the country, getting her CAH certification (Companian Animal Hygenist) at the age of 14.  She worked up to 6 days a week, finished high school at 16 and enrolled in business and accounting classes at Oakland Community College.

Siblings Mark and Shelly followed in the family business and in summer of 2000, the family decided to move and expand to include the best overnight care for our canine clients and ORCHARD LAKE PET RESORT was then opened at our new location April 1st 2001.
